Acceptable Use Policy
Prohibited content, real-person upload restrictions, reporting and the limits of current safeguards.
Last updated:
1. Scope and Responsibility
This policy is part of the Terms of Service and applies to submitted material, prompts, intermediate images, generated outputs and use of the service. The service is for adults aged 18 or older. Use only your own material or material you have lawful permission to use, including the necessary permission from any person depicted.
Consent does not authorize every use of a likeness or override a legal or payment-provider prohibition. A feature being technically present does not make a prohibited use permissible. Do not upload images of children, private documents or unnecessary sensitive material.
2. Pornography and NSFW Content
Do not request, upload, generate or distribute pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexually exploitative content, or non-consensual intimate imagery. This includes sexualized editing of a real person's appearance and attempts to create intimate material without lawful permission.
3. Graphic Violence and Gore
Do not create severe gore, graphic mutilation, extreme violence, or material that promotes, threatens, instructs or encourages serious injury, self-harm or violence against people or animals. Do not use the service to celebrate abuse or terrorize a target.
4. Hate Speech
Do not generate hateful, dehumanizing, discriminatory or threatening material targeting a person or group based on protected characteristics, such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. Incitement to violence or persecution is prohibited.
5. Child Sexual Abuse and Unsafe Content
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation or sexualization of minors, grooming, trafficking and other content endangering children are strictly prohibited, including synthetic or manipulated depictions. Do not try to evade this restriction by describing a child as an adult or altering an apparent age.
Report suspected child-safety violations without attaching or redistributing illegal imagery. Serious incidents may require preservation and referral to appropriate authorities under applicable law.
6. Deepfakes and Impersonation
Preset entertainment effects may use your own photograph or a photograph of another adult you have lawful permission to depict. The person must be aged 18 or older. You must have the necessary rights to the photograph and likeness and comply with any applicable disclosure requirements. Do not use an unauthorized likeness, deceptively impersonate a real person, fabricate evidence, or misrepresent synthetic statements or actions as authentic.
Consent or an AI-generated label does not permit deceptive impersonation, nudification, fabricated intimate scenes, political deception, identity fraud, sexual coercion or reputational abuse. An entertainment label is not a substitute for permission. Stricter restrictions imposed by applicable law or a payment or model provider continue to apply; an available feature is not proof of provider approval.
7. Copyright and Trademark Infringement
Do not upload or generate material that infringes copyright, trademarks, publicity rights or other protected rights. Do not use unlicensed footage, music, protected characters, logos or brands in a way that violates those rights or falsely implies endorsement. Buying a video package does not purchase a license to every third-party element in an output.
8. Fraud, Harassment and System Abuse
Fraud, scams, blackmail, doxxing, stalking, harassment, illegal activity and misuse of another person's account or payment method are prohibited. Do not evade content filters, conceal prohibited instructions, bypass ownership checks, probe for private data, tamper with payment confirmations or overload the service.
9. Current Moderation and Its Limits
The current SeeAPI integration performs image NSFW screening using its nsfw-filter-2 channel. Depending on the effect, submitted images are hosted by Kie.ai or fal.ai, and SeeAPI reads the same provider-hosted image URL before generation proceeds. Applicable intermediate reference images are also screened. A rejection stops the request; an unavailable or inconclusive screening service does not count as approval.
This screening does not comprehensively classify text prompts, violence, hate, impersonation, intellectual-property rights or every child-safety risk. The current delivery pipeline checks video-file structure and storage integrity; it does not run a comprehensive safety review of final video content before release. File validation and a supplier's success status are not content-safety approval.
User reports and operator investigations are handled manually. A severe visual-quality complaint and its possible video-use restoration or historical credit refund are a separate process from safety enforcement. No claim is made that every prompt, image and generated video is automatically checked for every prohibited category.
10. Reporting Content and Rights Violations
Email support@picturetovideo.net with a subject such as Content report, Privacy concern or Rights complaint. Include the relevant Video Job ID or website link, a concise explanation, which right or rule is affected and only the evidence reasonably needed to assess the report.
You can report unsafe AI content, unauthorized use of a likeness, impersonation, privacy violations, copyright or trademark infringement and attempts to bypass safeguards. Rights holders should identify the protected work or right and explain their authority to report. Do not attach passwords, full card numbers, additional private portraits or illegal imagery.
11. Investigation and Enforcement
We may review a report, seek clarification, refuse prohibited requests, warn a user, restrict distribution of affected content or take appropriate service-access measures consistent with law. Existing input-screening rejection is automated; reports, legal assessments and other access restrictions require operator action. There is no automated account-ban or comprehensive output-removal system.
Access to a particular delivery can require an operator-applied restriction; account-wide suspension or termination requires additional technical handling. Where necessary, an affected service may need to be paused while a serious incident is addressed. Applicable authorities may be contacted or assisted where legally required.
We do not use confiscation of purchased video uses or historical credits as an arbitrary punishment. Billing corrections, technical or quality refunds, legal remedies and safety actions must be considered separately. Necessary evidence may be preserved for a documented legal or safety reason, subject to privacy obligations.
12. Appeals and Updates
If you believe an action was mistaken, email support with the case or Video Job ID, explain the error and provide relevant non-sensitive evidence. Appeals are manually reviewed. This policy may be updated to reflect lawful requirements and actual safeguards; material changes receive notice where required.
See the Privacy Policy for data handling, the Refund Policy for billing remedies, and Contact for assistance.
